Kent Walk North – Custom FLEXX Panels

In 2021, Maglin collaborated with DTAH to create custom FLEXX Panels for Western University’s Stevenson Hall. The 8-foot decorative steel panels provide a visually striking solution to separate the pedestrian walkway from nearby waste management facilities and a service driveway. Designed to integrate with surrounding plantings, the fence system offers both function and aesthetic—enhancing the student environment while discreetly managing back-of-house infrastructure.

The Original S-Bench

Also on site at Western, is one of Maglin’s earliest custom curved wood benches. Originally installed in 2009 and affectionately referred to as the “S-Bench” or “Friendship Bench,” its unique shape encourages interaction and conversation. This bench helped pave the way for future curved bench seating within Maglin’s portfolio.
