Good to See You in Los Angeles!

At ASLA, a quick hello can turn into a half-hour catch-up. Conversations pick up where they left off, work talk gives way to family news, and familiar faces make a busy conference feel a little like a reunion.

For the Maglin team, ASLA 2026 in Los Angeles was full of those moments. Alongside supporting the landscape architecture community and sharing our latest work, we got to do what we love: spend time with the people who make this industry such a good one to be part of.

Student Sketch Walk

Before the EXPO opened, Maglin sponsored ASLA’s Student Sketch Walk, bringing landscape architecture students and professionals together to observe and draw.

Team Maglin joined Elizabeth Boults of UC Davis and Group 4 in Santa Monica, on an exploration Tongva Park, designed by James Corner Field Operations. The seven-acre park transformed a former asphalt parking lot into a landscape of rolling landforms, gardens, and pathways, with views toward the Pacific.

We’re proud to support opportunities that bring the profession together and give students and emerging professionals time to learn, experiment, and connect beyond the conference hall.

Old Friends, Good Conversations

The night before the EXPO opened, we welcomed clients and colleagues to our Nightcap Social at ION Rooftop Patio. It was a chance to catch up before the conference schedule took over, and the conversations felt less like networking and more like a reunion.

“There’s a different vibe at a show like this,” says Jill Roberts, Maglin’s Director of Growth. “It’s not only about business. It’s a chance to reminisce, catch up, and realize how many of these relationships have crossed the line from client to friend.”

Come on In, Stay Awhile

That same spirit carried onto the show floor. There were warm hellos, conversations that ran longer than planned, and plenty of catching up between sessions. Reconnecting with familiar faces was one of our favorite parts of the week.

For the first time, we brought the complete 720 Collection together at ASLA, giving visitors a chance to experience the family of pieces in person.

Amid the EXPO buzz, the 720 Double Lounge Chairs and Chaise Lounge offered a quieter place to pause. Visitors stretched out, took a breather, and made themselves at home before heading back into the crowd.

Until Next Time

To everyone who joined us at the Nightcap, took part in the Sketch Walk, stopped by the booth, or simply made time to say hello: thank you. We’re grateful for the friendships and connections that make this community so special.

Until next time in Chicago, keep in touch!
