Groves Memorial Community Hospital | Fergus, ON

Grounds Built to Match the Care Inside.

Groves Memorial Community Hospital was built to replace an aging facility. Located between Elora and Fergus, its patient rooms are angled toward the Grand River and its trail network rather than a parking lot. Maglin furnished the grounds end to end: 510 Benches, in both backed and backless versions, line the walkways; 250 multi-stream Waste and Recycling receptacles sit alongside them; movable FORO Tables and Chairs furnish a covered patio near the entrance; and 400 Series wave-style and 200 Series ring bike racks cover arrival on two wheels as well as by car. It’s less a single feature than a full site furnishing package, put to work at a hospital that treats its exterior as seriously as the wards inside. Groves Memorial opened in August 2020.
