Maglin Site Furniture
Featured Project: BCE Place Garden Court Patio, Canada
ISSUE NO. 2
Property Management: Brookfield Properties Corporation
Landscape Architect: John Quinn

BCE Place, in the heart of downtown Toronto, combines two architecturally stunning office towers with Toronto's oldest intact streetscape, including award-winning Allen Lambert Galleria, designed by Santiago Calatrava - a six storey pedestrian thoroughfare resplendent in light and glass. Additionally, BCE Place is the home to the world famous Hockey Hall of Fame.
When Maglin was presented with the opportunity to work with well-known designer and landscape architect John Quinn to develop the site furniture for the outdoor plaza at BCE Place, we proudly accepted. At Maglin, working with designers and architects to create custom site amenities is a major component of our business.

The management of BCE Place, Brookfield Properties Corporation, utilized the landscape design expertise of Quinn Design Associates, to incorporate Calatrava's stunning masterpiece to create a variety of street level furnishings for the seasonal Garden Court Patio and for the Wellington and Bay Street exterior landscape program.

Maglin Site Furniture assisted with the design and manufacturing of seating, planters and decorative patio enclosures used to distinguish seating and cafe arrangements.

The custom design built specifically for BCE Place mirrors the soaring arches of the Allen Lambert Galleria. The furniture was designed to be fully portable to allow for seasonal storage as required.
